Marbled grey flesh fly (Sarcophaga carnaria)

Marbled grey flesh flies are 10-16 mm long. They are coloured grey to black in a spotted pattern. The females do not lay eggs, but instead bear the finished larvae. Aside from this, their habitus resembles that of blue bottle flies.

The damage caused by this species is similar to that of the blue bottle fly.
