Golden spider beetle (Niptus hololeucus)

Biology:

The golden spider beetle is, like the shiny spider beetle, similar in appearance to a spider. It is 4 to 5 mm long and the dense golden yellow hairs covering its brown body give it a brassy appearance. Occurrence, development and habitus are the same as in the shiny spider beetle.

Damage:

Damage the same as with the shiny spider beetle.
